Taylor Swift Predicted To Sell Almost A Million Copies Of 1989, But Won’t Beat Red Record

According to Billboard’s industry sources, 1989 may have only been on sale for a day, but it’s already been predicted to become the second-biggest selling album of 2014. If Swift does manage to sell 900k, that would mean that this would be the largest sales week for any album since March 2013, when Justin Timberlake managed to sell an impressive 968,000 with his comeback album The 20/20 Experience, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The official figures will be announced on November 5.
