Titled “Songs of Innocence”, the album features 11 songs including its lead single “The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)” that the band performed at the event. For the LP, which was originally planned to be released earlier this year, Bono and Co. worked with hitmakers like Danger Mouse with Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Declan Gaffney and Flood.

The album will stay free exclusively for 500 million iTunes users until its officially released on October 14. It’s also available for streaming on Beats Music.

“Songs of Innocence”, however, will not be eligible for inclusion on Billboard 200 next week because free or giveaway albums do not count toward sales tracked by Nielsen SoundScan. Its sales will count after Interscope Records makes the album available to all retailers next month.
